Edgewood Preserve

Yes, it has been a while since I posted a hike. But fortunately, I am on Break! so be prepared for more amazing views of different trails.
I love to hike solo. I do enjoy hiking with other hikers too. But perhaps I enjoy it the most when I hike alone because there is a connection with nature and spirituality that I find peaceful and I can truly enjoy without distractions.

The trails were busy with families and solo hikers. There was a family creating a circle of life at the top of the hill and were chanting while some of the kids were taking pictures.
I encountered beautiful birds, deer and flowers of different colours. The wet and muddy ground shined when the sun made its way through the tree branches. The smell was incredible, fresh grass, eucalypti trees, and there were a few areas covered with wild mint. It cleared my senses, I felt alive!

There are several trails of different lengths. I hiked a total of 7 miles R/T with an altitude gain of approximately 900 feet. It was fun! enjoy the pictures!
